Turn on push notifications

Push is how the app reaches you when it matters — a session reminder the morning of, or an update from an organizer. Here's how to switch it on and keep it useful, not noisy.

Turn on push

The first time it's relevant, the app asks for permission to send notifications — tap Allow. That's all it takes to start getting reminders.

What you'll get

  • Reminders before a session you're enrolled in.
  • Updates from organizers about your workshops.

Wayfield doesn't spam — notifications are tied to workshops you're actually part of.

Choose what you get

In your notification settings you control which notifications are on, across push and email. Dial it in so you get reminders without the noise. Discovery emails are separate — see Get the workshop digest.

If you said no at first

Declined the permission prompt? You can turn push back on in your phone's system settings for Wayfield — then your preferences in the app take over from there.
