Delete your Wayfield account

Option 1: Delete in the app

1. Open the Wayfield app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Account Settings.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deleting your account cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the app, email support@wayfield.app from the email address registered to your account, with the subject Delete my account. We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours. You can also contact the privacy team named in our Privacy Policy.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address, and pronouns are removed from your account, and you are signed out on all devices.
• Your upcoming workshop registrations are canceled.
• We remove or anonymise your personally identifiable information within 30 days of the request being confirmed.
• You are removed from marketing communications immediately upon confirmation.
• Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days due to our backup rotation schedule. They are not actively processed and are overwritten in due course.

What is kept, and for how long

Some data must be retained after deletion. As stated in our Data Retention Policy:

• Account data: retained for 2 years after account deletion.
• Payment and transaction records: 7 years from the date of transaction, for legal and tax obligations.
• Attendance records: 3 years after the event date.
• Communication logs: 2 years after the communication date.
• Support tickets: 3 years after the ticket is resolved.
• Workshop and session data: 5 years after workshop completion.
• Anonymised, aggregated analytics data, which cannot identify you, may be retained indefinitely.

Where a legal hold applies, deletion may be delayed or partial.

Organizers

If you run workshops or have an active subscription on Wayfield, contact support@wayfield.app before deleting your account so we can help with your workshops and billing.
