What you can do
The Wayfield watch app is built for the moment you arrive at a session. From your wrist you can:
- Check in to the session you're enrolled in, the moment the window opens.
- See your next session — its title, time, and location.
- Tap Navigate to open directions to the venue in Maps.
- Tap Call Leader to phone the session leader, when a number is available.
- Glance at a weather card for outdoor sessions.
Set it up
- Install the Wayfield app on your iPhone and sign in.
- The watch app installs alongside it. If it doesn't appear, open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll to Available Apps, and install Wayfield.
- Open Wayfield on your watch. It uses your iPhone sign-in — if you see “Open Wayfield on your iPhone to sign in,” just sign in on the phone once and come back.
Check in from your wrist
Open Wayfield on your watch and you'll see your next session. When the check-in window is open, a large Check In button appears — tap it and you're in. Before the window opens it reads “Opens at” with the time; once you're in, it shows a green “Checked in.”
Two more buttons sit right there when they're useful: Navigate opens directions in Maps, and Call Leader dials the session leader.
A day with several sessions
If you have more than one session today, swipe to the Today timeline. Each session shows its status — checked in, pending, or missed — and you can check in to any one of them right from the list with the inline In button.
If nothing is scheduled, you'll simply see “No sessions today.”
For leaders
If you're leading a session, the watch shows your roster at a glance: how many participants have checked in, out of your total, with a fill bar that turns green as the room fills up. It's the fastest way to know whether to wait or begin.
Works offline
Out of signal in the field? Check in anyway. The watch queues your check-in(you'll feel a small haptic tap) and sends it automatically the moment you reconnect, with a confirmation buzz. You never have to think about it.
