What you can ask
Wayfield plugs into Siri so you can run its most useful actions by voice — no tapping, no screens. The actions pull your live workshop data: your real next session, your actual check-in status, the conditions at your venue.
Phrases to try
Press and hold the side button (or say “Hey Siri”) and try:
- “Check me in to my Wayfield session”
- “What's my next Wayfield session?”
- “When do I need to leave for my Wayfield session?”
- “Navigate to my Wayfield session”
- “Show my Wayfield schedule”
- “When do I need to wake up for my Wayfield session?”
- “Is the weather good for my Wayfield session?”
Check in with your voice
“Check me in with Wayfield” actually records your check-in for the session whose window is open — Siri replies “Done. You're checked in to [session].” It's the fastest way in when your hands are full of gear.
Shortcuts & Spotlight
Every Wayfield action also appears in Apple's Shortcuts app and in Spotlight search, so you can:
- Open Shortcuts → search “Wayfield” to see the full list.
- Add an action to a Home Screen button, or build it into an automation (e.g. run “What's my next session” every morning).
- Swipe down on the Home Screen and type “Wayfield” to run an action from Spotlight.
Workshop Mode
Running one workshop for the weekend? Turn on Wayfield Workshop Mode. In Settings → Focus, pick (or create) a Focus, add Wayfield under its app filters, and choose the workshop. Wayfield — and your widget and watch — then show only that workshop until you turn the Focus off.
Leaders & organizers
The voice actions know your role. Leaders can ask things like “How many people have checked in to my Wayfield session?” Organizers can ask “How's my Wayfield workshop filling up?” or “How's check-in going at my Wayfield workshop?” — a quick pulse without opening the dashboard.
Good to know
- You need to be signed in to the Wayfield app first — if not, Siri will ask you to sign in.
- This works with Siri and the Shortcuts app on iPhone (and iPad). On Android, use the home-screen widget, Quick Settings tile, and long-press shortcuts instead.
- The first time you use an action, iOS may ask you to allow Wayfield to run it — tap Allow.
