Virtual Visible Artist System Cohort 1

January 12, 2027 – March 2, 2027Online

About This Workshop

Eight Weeks to Find Your Voice, Build Your Website, and Be Seen

Your work deserves to be seen.

You create because something moves you. Perhaps it's the light falling across a landscape, a fleeting moment on the street, or a story you feel compelled to tell. But creating meaningful work and sharing it with the world are two very different things.

For many artists, the hardest part isn't making the work. It's deciding what the work means, finding the confidence to share it, and knowing where to begin.

The Visible Artist System is an eight-week guided experience designed to help you take that next step.

Together, we'll explore what draws you to your work, discover the themes that connect your favorite images, develop your artistic voice, and create a thoughtfully curated portfolio. We'll turn those discoveries into an artist statement and build a personal website that gives your work a home.

You don't need to know exactly what kind of artist you are before you begin. Discovering that is part of the experience.

More Than a Website

A website is one of the tangible outcomes of this workshop, but the journey goes much deeper.

Through guided conversations, creative exercises, practical assignments, and group discussions, you'll begin to understand not just what you create, but why you create it.

You'll learn to select work that represents you, speak about your creative practice with confidence, and establish a presence that can grow alongside your artistic journey.

We'll also explore simple ways technology, including AI, can help with writing, organizing ideas, and overcoming obstacles without replacing your own creative voice.

What You'll Accomplish

By the end of our eight weeks, you'll have:

  • A clearer understanding of your artistic interests, themes, and direction.

  • A curated portfolio of photographs or creative work.

  • A personal artist statement that communicates your voice.

  • A published website featuring your portfolio, story, and contact information.

  • Greater confidence sharing your work with others.

  • A practical 90-day plan for continuing your visibility journey.

Who This Workshop Is For

The Visible Artist System is designed for photographers and other visual artists who are ready to take their creative practice beyond simply making work.

Whether you've been creating for years but rarely share your images, are returning to an old passion, or are just beginning to discover your artistic direction, this experience offers a supportive place to grow.

You don't need a professional portfolio, a business, or a clearly defined artistic style. You only need a willingness to explore your work and take meaningful steps toward being seen.

How the Eight Weeks Work

We'll meet once a week for guided conversations, practical learning, and collaborative exploration. Each session builds on the previous one, with manageable assignments that move you toward your finished website.

This is not a traditional photography class focused on camera settings or technical instruction. It's an opportunity to discover what matters to you, give your work a home, and begin sharing it with intention.

Your work matters. Your perspective matters. It's time to be seen.
